For quite some time I thought I realized and appreciated just how much my mom had done for me in my life. Now that I’m a dad… I’ve got a whole new perspective and really just another level of understanding and appreciation. THANK YOU, MOM!
So today it was Mother’s Day and Julie wanted to go run a 5k… so I took the baby and ran the gym for her. Up super early to allow Julie an extra 90 minutes of sleep – I had an idea for a Mother’s Day workout. It went like this…
“Mom” is an 24 hour per day job that lasts a lifetime… but is a bit front loaded on the first 23 years and I tried to draw some parallels in a WOD.
It took a lot of duct tape to get everyone pregnant… and far less fun than the traditional method.
Your biceps get super tired carrying a baby around in one arm while you do everything/anything else – moms are tough!
When it came time to haul the kids around, some where smart enough to “carpool” and share the driving with other parents.
