Congratulations to Jen Goodman, our WODer of the week! Jen’s hardworking attitude has lately propelled her to some great progress in the gym. Jen has been a member since January; in her previous life she worked with a personal trainer, but had no other athletic background. When asked what improvements she has noticed since starting CrossFit, she answers, “Everything.” She lifts heavier and moves more efficiently across the board. Jen is typically a 5pm-er, though she’s enjoyed the camaraderie of every class she’s attended. “Everyone is awesome and so supportive, always rooting you on.”
Jen consistently puts in extra time to master new skills, and it shows; several weeks ago she hit 3 consecutive ring dips, and is currently working to improve her chest-to-bar pull ups, with the ultimate goal of a muscle up. In addition to a muscle-up, Jen’s goals are to “recycle and string together movements in workouts like kips and double- unders.” Like most members, her goal list is long, but she is quick to recognize how far she has come since she started. This positivity is what we love about Jen. Keep up the good work!
